Canada's Global Television premiered the new Kiefer Sutherland show 'Touch' on March 22. For the past month, Global has been running “The Global Touch Campaign” to increase interest in the program.
First, the network sent 175 mobile phones to journalists and bloggers across Canada.
The method was simple:
The phones could only be used to take photos and send those photos to Global. All photos collected by Global Television were then uploaded to the Global Touch Campaign page so Canadians could see inspiring and heartwarming shots from across the country, further ingraining the idea of being connecte
d to one another as it relates to the storyline of “Touch”:
A drama that blends science and spirituality to explore the hidden connections which bind together all of humanity. At the center of this distinctive new series is a widower and single father (Kiefer Sutherland) whose quest to reach his emotionally challenged 11-year-old son will shape the destiny of the entire planet. In addition, with every photo submitted to Global, 10 cents was donated to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
