Danish football team surprised at airport by national anthem stunt

By on Monday, June 11, 2012

As the Danish Euro 2012 team was saying their goodbyes to their families and giving last-minute press interviews at Kastrup Airport before boarding the flight for Poland/Ukraine, a trumpeter and singers appeared and performed the Danish national anthem, unfurling banners saying (rough translation) ‘go on the boys, we believe’.

The creative stunt was organised by Danish team sponsors Danske Bank, who clearly saw a great marketing opportunity and took it well.
