Golden slice of pizza

A GREAT stunt by a pizza chef in Zurich, Switzerland has grabbed global attention.
Ismail Ertekin has created a luxury pizza topped with edible 24-carat gold shavings, and the chef claims the gold even offers diners health benefits.
Ismail, 50, said: “Gold can help with your immune system. It is one of the oldest medical treatments in history.”
A magnificent, yet simple stunt considering that the pizza only costs £14 from his Avanto eatery. I spotted this in the Metro (London), but a quick Google and you can see just how well it has been picked up.
