A Yellow Jersey Collaboration

By on Monday, July 23, 2012

In what is little more than a blatant attempt to link my love for the Tour with my day-to-day job, I thought it was worth tipping the chapeau to yesterday’s hero of the Champs Elysee, Bradley Wiggins.  Much of the coverage puts (Sir) Bradley alongside Great British sporting heroes such as Fred Perry and Roger Bannister – which all makes for a rather convenient way to drive publicity of Le Gentleman’s recent fashion collaboration.

Bradley’s love of mod fashion means Fred Perry was a natural fit, much like the retro-inspired wear he’s designed.  Ahem.

Not only does he win yellow, lead Cavendish out for the sprint win AND turn up to the Olympics in the finest of fettle, his clothing line has also sold out.   What price a ‘yellow’ version in the next round?
