Darts player undergoes ‘foxy’ makeover in sponsor stunt

Just before Christmas, professional darts player Peter Wright dyed his mohican ginger and had a fox painted on the side of his head, to promote gambling site Foxy Bingo.

He also changed his name to Peter ‘Foxybite’ Wright, having formerly gone by the nickname ‘Snakebite’ Wright, which, if Wikipedia’s right (what do you mean it isn’t?) appear to be the type of darts he uses, too.

He said: “All my clothes are covered in sponsorship, so why not my hair?

A nice, quick and dirty PR stunt, which was featured in both The Sun (below) and Sunday Mirror as far as I can see.
