KashFlow brighten up Blue Monday with #BreakTheMould stunt

By on Monday, January 21, 2013

Whether you believe the ‘Blue Monday’ hype or not, Monday January 21st, the third Monday of January has officially been dubbed the most depressing day of the year but not so for lucky London commuters who bagged £50 in KashFlow’s #BreakTheMould stunt.

‘Break in case of emergency’ boxes were planted at busy commuter spots, containing £50, a year’s subscription to cloud accounting software KashFlow and a letter from KashFlow founder Duane Jackson encouraging commuters to beat Blue Monday and start up their own businesses.

The stunt, executed by Manifest London, spread a bit of cheer on an otherwise wet, cold and miserable Monday morning, raised KashFlow’s profile and generated some healthy debate about startups on Twitter as well as making for a nice photo story.

Check out the photos on the Kashflow Facebook page or watch this hella awesome video which explains it all.
