HP used this festival opportunity as a perfect way to create a link to its new “Make Memories Last” brand reposition.

HP created the Photoball, a giant ball that took photos as it was chucked around the crowd. Outfitted with a HD camera and a wi-fi antenna, the Photoball captured images and relayed those images to the stage and to HP’s Facebook fan page–all in real time. Fans could share and print the photos during the concert at booths.

More than three million viewers were also able to witness the concert via live online broadcast.
