Oasis gets Despicable

Oasis Be Fruit (France) have been marketing their fruity beverage with walking, talking, punning fruit for some time now. Following the success of last year’s Iron Man 3 brand hijack, the team released a new spot last week in the lead up to the premiere of Despicable Me 2 (here called Moi, Moche et Mechant 2) in France, which plays on the similarity between the yellow-skinned minions and the yellow-skinned lemon. While the jokes are only (barely) funny in French, the target audience will be amused and both the film and the juice will get plenty of mileage out of it.

Oasis’ creative team is in-house and seems to have a great grip of topicality, tweeting humorous quips about currently trending topics.
