Victoria Beckham’s Face On A Latte For Macmillan Coffee Morning

Victoria Beckham immortalised on a cup of coffee

We’ve been used to seeing Victoria Beckham’s face in the press a lot over the past few weeks as her gorgeous fashion designs have been paraded on catwalks in New York and London. But this morning it was in the press as we have never seen it before – immortalised in a cup of coffee.

This latest portrait of Victoria Beckham, by New York ‘latte artist’ Michael Breach, has been created for Macmillan’s Coffee Morning, which takes place this Friday (28th September) to raise funds for cancer care and support.

Mrs Beckham tweeted the picture to nearly 7 million fans on Twitter and the story has already been picked up by the holy grail of celebrity gossip, Mail Online, as well as Elle UK and OK.

Somewhat bizarrely, Ben Fogle’s face was also the subject of Breach’s coffee art.

Food art, or drink art in this instance, has been a firm favourite with PRs for some years now and it doesn’t seem to be getting old just yet. Macmillan has also used the celebrity coffees as a platform to launch its Bake My Face competition, asking the public to bake a cake with the face of their favorite celebrity on it. The competition will be judged by Fearne Cotton and entrants are encouraged to tweet their baked delights directly at the presenter @FearneCotton. Fearne also tweeted a picture of a cake with her face on it.

Overall, a really great campaign which rides on the back of the nation’s current obsessions with baking and celebrity while raising money for a fantastic cause.
