Three ‘change’ name to District Three in Hunger Games piggybacking PR stunt

Here’s a simple PR stunt I thought I’d include for posterity and, well, because it’s a good example of a quick, low-budget social photo effort that might give you food for thought.

District 3 Three

To piggyback on the launch of the latest in the Hunger Games movie series, Mockingjay Part 1, mobile phone retailer Three has ‘changed’ its name to District Three, one of the thirteen districts and, according to Wikipedia, one that specialises in the production of electronics, which is a happy coincidence.

In fact, it hasn’t changed it’s name at all. As this tweet highlights, it’s a ‘consideration’, meaning it was a quick and dirty Photoshop/MS Paint (my preferred tool of untalented choice) job.
