BMO Financial – also known as Bank of Montreal – installed a 10-foot-tall ATM in its Toronto branch last week, with the simple message: ‘The NBA All-Stars Are Coming.’
BMO was an official sponsor of the NBA All-Star weekend. The ATM was created to be the height of an NBA regulation basketball goal.

Oddly, though – I just found out from this Adweek piece that the ATM didn’t really dispense money. I mean, functionality is hardly the purpose of this kind of marketing, but I’m surprised anybody was told otherwise…!
