Airbnb’s newest unique bedroom revealed

With Airbnb specialising in offering unique spaces to guests all over the world, it is hardly surprising that it has secured this gold listing in Rio, Brazil.

Airbnb has created the first gold themed bedroom, which has a wall of glass overlooking the gymnast arena ahead of the Rio Olympics.

The room has been specially constructed for the games and comes complete with a rang of apparatus associated with gymnastics including rubberised floors, a hanging rope ladder and lamp rings. Guests can chose to sleep in the gold bed or perhaps they’d rather sleep in the ‘safety net’ hammock?

Visit the listing on Airbnb before midnight on Saturday 16th April for a chance to win a stay in the lavish listing on the 20th April (flights included). All you need to do is contact the host and tell them a bit about yourself, where you live and why you’d love to stay in this bedroom!

Among other things, prize recipients will attend the final international rhythmic gymnastics qualifier event and medal ceremony, as well as meet other Olympic international athletes and enjoy a spa session.
