University notifies students they’ve been accepted through Snapchat

It’s pretty common for businesses/education bodies to try and incorporate the newest social media platform into their marketing efforts (except Tinder), but what’s not so common is when it’s done well.

This year the University of Wisconsin Green Bay is snapchatting applicants their acceptance to the school. Simple but effective.

Students who provided their Snapchat handle to the University and opted in to the feature, received the celebratory snap (obviously).

Naturally it’s got people talking and has been covered by Buzzfeed, Entrepreneur and Teen Vogue to name a few.
