In a partnership to celebrate the 2015 UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), Pokerstars and Jones & Sons restaurant have created ‘All-In Kitchen’ – a pop-up restaurant in Hackney, London where you can pay for your three-course dinner and drink by playing poker.

Customers at the pop-up restaurant will get a discount depending on how many chips they have at the end of three hands of Texas Hold-Em.

If I understand it correctly, customers with 10,000 chips or more after the three hands will get their dinner on the house, those with between 5,000 and 10,000 will have to pay just £5 and those with fewer than 5,000 will have to pay just £10. Alternatively, if a customer would prefer not to play, they can opt to pay £50 for their meal and a poker-inspired cocktail.

Spaces for the originally-planned three day one sold out fast, prompting the team to add a couple of new days. According to the PRs behind the effort, new tickets are being added each day, and tickets for the extra dates (the 26th and 27th) will go on sale here on the 21st.

According to the Telegraph there are plans to roll out the experience nationwide across each stop of the PokerStars UKIPT.

The campaign, which is in a very similar vein to Birds Eye’s ‘pay by Instagram’ stunt from last year, has been featured by the likes of the Mail Online, the Telegraph and Vice.
